20- Day Advent Countdown Devotional for Families

Welcome to the Twenty-day Advent Countdown Family Devotional. This devotional is a set of 25 cards intended to be used during the four weeks leading up to Christmas, also known as Advent. This is a fun gift to purchase for family and friends. You can buy them for church families, stocking stuffers, and gifts.

Who is the devotional for?
It is for any family who would like to teach their children about the true reason for Christmas.

What does this devotional teach?
It is a Bible-rich devotional that will introduce your child to prophets and prophecies foretold of Jesus’ Birth. I have three kids, 8,5, and 3, and I have written it so they can follow and understand it. The devotional then leads into the story of the birth of Jesus and all the events that occurred during that time. Each day includes some simple activities you can do together as a family.

What is the format of the cards?
Twenty-five 4X6 sturdy cards (16 pt) with UV gloss coating are shrink-wrapped and come in cute jute drawstring bags for easy storage. The cards include 20 days of devotional and five cards with instructions, maps, answer keys, etc.

Do I need to know the Bible references to do this with my kids?
No, the devotional is designed so that you can read a script to your child and, in the process, also learn along with them.

What does a typical day look like?
Each day starts with recollecting what was learned previously. (There is an answer key card you can use.) It moves on to ‘let us learn,’ the topic of the day. Lastly, it includes simple activities you can do together as a family and ends with a short prayer. The whole family will get something out of it, and you will learn a great deal about Jesus’ Birth.
